The Washington Hatchet golf team made the trip to Prides Creek to take on Pike Central yesterday. Josh Butchers squad comes home with a win firing a team score of 194. Channey Clark led with a 41 while Izzie Howell fired a 43.
Barr-Reeve makes their season debut tonight alongside the Hatchets and Rivet Patriots for a home match at Country Oaks. Tee time is scheduled for 4:30. First contest day for football is August 18th and all other fall sports is August 12th.

The Big Ten has begun exploratory discussions about expanding membership to 18 or even 20 teams. The schools being considered are Oregon and Washington if the league adds two schools, and Cal and Stanford if it wants to move to 20. All four institutions are currently members of the Pac-12 as are 2024 arrivals USC and UCLA.
