It’s the Opening Night of the Annual Jasper Strassenfest on 4th Street in Jasper tonight. The festival will be held at the same location as last year due to the reconstruction of the square. Laura Grammar is the director this year, and she describes the exciting kick-off planned for tonight at 6 p.m.
Strassenfest runs through Sunday, with a huge parade to wrap up the full weekend. Join Shake Broadcasting and WRZR live Saturday at the Car, Truck, Jeep, and Motorcycle Show at the Shroeder Complex starting at 8 a.m.; registration begins at 9 a.m. We will also be hosting a chili cook-off during the show. It’s a full weekend of fun at the Jasper Strassenfest, beginning tonight.
