Danyelle M. McCrary

Danyelle M. McCrary, 44, passed away at 5:24 am on July 15, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospital. Danyelle was born on December 7, 1978, in Vincennes and she is the daughter of Charles P. “Bunk” and Pam (Peters) McCrary.
 
Danyelle was a 1997 graduate of Vincennes Lincoln High School where she participated on the track and basketball teams. Danyelle most recently was a court reporter working in Knox County Circuit Court for Judge Monica Gilmore. She took great pride in coaching the Vincennes Lincoln track team and Vincennes Rivet girls basketball teams. She also coached girls basketball at Vincennes Lincoln. Danyelle enjoyed shopping and watching her godson Cale Bezy participate in his sporting events, going to races, football games, basketball games and the Vincennes Lincoln Homecoming festivities. Danyelle also enjoyed music, getting her nails done and she always dressed fashionable. On any given night you could always find Danyelle in a gym or on a field watching a game and she always had to have her car spotless.
 
Survivors include her mother, Pam McCrary of Vincennes; brother Curtis McCrary of Vincennes; her aunt, Patty Hall and her husband Tim of Vincennes; Godson, Cale Bezy; her special family, Mark and Alicia Bezy, Cane Claycomb, Kaylin Bezy, Mark Pepmeier and his wife Ann of Vincennes, Randy Pepmeier and his wife Jan of Salem, IN; as well as several great aunts, great uncles and cousins. Danyelle is preceded in death by her dad, Charles P. “Bunk” McCrary, her maternal grandparents, Wayne and Helen Peters, her paternal grandparents, Paul D. and Patty McCrary, uncle Kenny Peters and a special family member Mike Pepmeier.
 
Friends may visit with Danyelle’s family from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. Danyelle’s funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home with Deacon Pat Herman officiating. Danyelle will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery. The McCrary family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Jimmy V Foundation or the Vincennes Lincoln High School Girls Track program.
