Brenda E. Schroeder, 65, of Vincennes, IN passed away July 2, 2023. She was born in Valparaiso, IN on October 17, 1957, to the late Freeman and Hazel (Hendrickson) Davis. Brenda graduated from North Newton High School in 1975. Brenda worked for 12 years as a laborer at FIA. In her free time, she enjoyed working in her yard, doing jigsaw puzzles, watching IU basketball, tending to her flower garden, doing lawn maintenance, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
Brenda married Keith Chapman and had two sons before his passing on August 16, 2000. She then married Michael Schroeder on September 26, 2006.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; husband Keith Chapman; and sister-in-law Marianne Chapman.
She is survived by her husband, of 16 years, Mike Schroeder; sons Aaron (Kylie) Chapman and Cody (Emily) Chapman; grandchildren Samuel and Benjamin Chapman; sister Peggy (Barry) Trotter; brother John Davis; brother-in-law Bill Chapman; niece Megan (Jariah) Besing; nephew Chayce (Cristal) Trotter; and many great nieces and nephews.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored and entrusted with the care of Mrs. Schroeder. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 10, 2023, at 10am at East Union Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
