Jasper is gearing up for the return of the Downtown Chowdown event, set to begin at 4 p.m. at the Jasper Riverwalk/Dave Buehler Plaza. This food extravaganza will feature thirteen food trucks, live music by Jed Guillaume, and fun yard games. Seating will be available in the shelter houses and plaza, but attendees are also encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to enjoy the live music. As part of the Swing into Summer festivities in downtown Jasper, the Downtown Chowdown will be a recurring event held on the first Thursday of each month from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.The event will take place at the Jasper Riverwalk/Dave Buehler Plaza, rain or shine.
