Dubois County is set to commemorate Memorial Day with solemn ceremonies across various locations. Join VFW Post 673 and American Legion Post 147 as they pay tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. In Jasper, the day’s honors will commence at Fairview Jasper at 9:00 a.m., followed by Shiloh Jasper at 9:20 a.m., Saint Mary’s Ireland at 9:40 a.m., Saint John’s Lutheran at 10:10 a.m., Portersville at 10:40 a.m., Saint Paul Lutheran Haysville at 11:00 a.m., Crystal at 11:30 a.m., Saint Raphael’s Dubois at 11:50 a.m., and Enlow Jasper at 12:20 p.m. Meanwhile, Huntingburg VFW Post 2366 will hold their Memorial Day observance at various locations. Pay respects at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at 8:30 a.m., Fairmount Cemetery at 9:00 a.m., and Mayo Cemetery in Duff at 9:30 a.m. At 10:00 a.m., gather at Veterans Monument Park on 14th St. in Huntingburg, near the Event Center.
