Mary Tolliver

Mary Tolliver, 91, of Vincennes, IN passed away peacefully at her home on May 21, 2023. She was born on May 5, 1932, in Vincennes, IN to the late Henry and Theresa (Rinderle) Bauer. Mary was a graduate from St. Rose Academy in 1950. Mary married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Tolliver on August 10, 1950. She worked for Del Farms as the head cashier for 25 years. Mary was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In her younger years she was a member of the Altar Society and a former girl scout leader. She and Bob were also very active in the early years of the Vincennes Rendezvous. Mary enjoyed many things such as cooking, jigsaw puzzles, reading, watching the St. Louis Cardinals games, cross stitch, spending summers at Lake Lawrence, planning FOBAM events, yardwork, and spending time with her family. She was known to be the best mom and granny to all her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She will be deeply missed.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bob Tolliver; sons-in-law Steve Wimbley, Ted Frederick, Bill Cat; brother Bobby Bauer; and sister Rita Hendrixson.
She is survived by her children Karen Wimbley, Pam Frederick, Butch (Karen) Tolliver, Terri Catt; 10 grandchildren; 18 and 1 on the way great-grandchildren; sister Rosie (Jack) Staley; and many nieces and nephews.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored and entrusted with the care of Mrs. Tolliver. Visitation will be held Friday, May 26, 2023, from 11-1 at Sacred Heart Church. A Mass of Christian burial will take place Friday, May 26, 2023, at 1pm with burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery immediately following.
