Philip J. “Phil” Chambers Jr.

Philip J. “Phil” Chambers Jr., 75, passed away at 11:50 am on May 11, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Phil was born on July 6, 1947 in Vincennes and he is the son of Phillip J. Sr., and Robertine J. (Cardinal) Chambers. Phil married Marlene Frankum on May 10, 1969.
 
Phil worked in sales for Wabash Coffee for many years and was a member of Community Church of Vincennes. He also was very proud of the fact that he served his country in the United States Army.
 
Survivors include his wife, Marlene Chambers of Vincennes; sons, Erik Chambers and his wife Elizabeth of Vincennes, Troy Chambers and his wife Amanda of Ft. Branch, IN, Adam Chambers of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Dylan Chambers and his wife Hillary, Coty Chambers and his wife Brandi, Kaley Schulten and her husband Joe, Alicia Might, Dalton Might, Kimberly Chamberlain, Madison (Peanut) Willis and her husband Cage, Graysen Chambers, Lane Chambers; his great grandchildren, Brently, Abigail, Kason, Kane, Adeline, Annabel, Remington, Collins, Memphis, and one on the way (Little Peanut); his dog, Oliver; siblings, Jeannie Peters and her husband Bud of Vincennes, Peggy Roach of Evansville, and Jack Chambers and his wife Marsha of Emison. Phil is preceded in death by his parents, Philip J. Sr. and Robertine J. Chambers; and his siblings, Joanne Marley, Barbara McClaskey, Pam Catt, and Roberta Chambers.
 
Friends may visit with Phil’s family from 5:00 pm until the hour of service time of 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. with Pastor Darren Williams officiating. Online memories may be shared with Phil’s family at www.goodwinsievers.com. The Chambers family has requested memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Knox County Sherriff’s Association.
