The Greene County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Police Bloomington are conducting a death investigation following reports of found remains and clothing. Crime scene investigators and Sergeant Chris Fears responded to the scene after a request made by the Sheriff’s Department. The remains were discovered by a local hunter in a field in rural Greene County, near Solsberry. As of now, the investigation remains ongoing, and the authorities are urging anyone with information regarding this matter to contact the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. The nature of the death and the identity of the remains are yet to be determined. The authorities have not disclosed any further information regarding the case.
