On April 19, 2023, officers and detectives with the Washington Police Department and Knox County High Tech Crime Unit began investigating possible threats that were circulating via social media.
Throughout the investigation, it was ultimately determined that the original post originated in Texas.
Texas law enforcement authorities have arrested a juvenile on charges of third-degree felony terrorism threats as a result.
