Lillie Lucille Garrison/Harrington, 84, passed away at her residence at 5:44 pm on April 6, 2023, with her family by her side. Lillie was born on July 27, 1938, in Broughton, IL and is the daughter of Marion and Helen (Irvin) Essary. Lillie married Don Garrison and he preceded her in death in 1968, she then married Charles Harrington and he preceded her in death in 2007.
Lillie was a homemaker and a Pastor/Founder of Full Gospel Church. She enjoyed crafts and crocheting, shopping at St. Vincent de Paul and watching her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Gene Garrison and his wife Valerie of Richmond Hill, GA, Dean Garrison and his wife Kathy of Paoli, IN; daughter, Becky Richardson and her husband Deen of Petersburg, IN; her siblings, Esther Griswold of Broughton, IL, Carl Essary and his wife Joyce of Hobart, IN, Isaac Essary and his wife Marsha of Crown Pointe, IN; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Lillie is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Helen Essary, her first husband, Don Garrison, her second husband Charles Harrington and three siblings.
Friends may visit with Lillie’s family from 4-8 pm est on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State St., Washington, IN 47501. Lillie’s funeral service will begin at 11:00 am est on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Garrison officiating. Lillie will be laid to rest between her husbands in Digby Cemetery in Dale, IL. Lillie’s family has requested memorial contributions be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 415 E. 6th St., Jasper, IN 47546. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Lillie and her family.
