Kerry Wagler, 53, of Montgomery, Indiana passed away surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
He was born September 7, 1969 in Washington, Indiana to Willis and Lorene (Swartzentruber) Wagler.
Kerry enjoyed playing golf. In his younger years, he played softball for the Wagler Roasters softball team. Most recently, Kerry worked for ABK Flooring where he sold and measured flooring. He was known as a jokester and always had a smile on his face.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willis Wagler; girlfriend, Julie Hart; and several aunts and uncles.
Kerry is survived by his daughters, Mattie (Eric) Wagler of Cannelburg and Kaylee Wagler of Odon; a grandbaby due in August; mother, Lorene Wagler of Montgomery; brother, Kelly Wagler of Montgomery; caregiver, Dee Vash; Bubba, the dog; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2023 at First Mennonite Church in Montgomery, Indiana. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at First Mennonite Church in Montgomery, Indiana.
