High-Speed Chase on US 41 Ends with Arrest and Recovery of Stolen SUV

Early Thursday morning, Trooper Roberts tried to stop a Chevrolet SUV driving at 90 mph on US 41, but the driver refused and reached speeds of over 100 mph. The SUV nearly hit Trooper Roberts’ car and continued west on various county roads. The SUV was later found parked down a long driveway, and a passenger was detained. The driver fled and was not found, and officers found a small amount of marijuana in the SUV. The passenger, Jadie Jordan, was arrested for possession of marijuana, and the SUV was reported stolen. Later in the morning, a female named Alexis Fairchild was arrested after being seen walking in the area where the suspect vehicle was found. She is being held in the Gibson County Jail.
