Broadcasting notes for the upcoming boys sectional:
All Washington games from the Hatchet House will be on Memories 107.9 with Dewayne and Kyle Corneilius
 
On Razor Radio Sports all games in sectional 63 including Loogootee, Barr Reeve and Washington Catholic will be broadcast with Greg Bateman and Mike Wagoner at the helm.
All the Barr Reeve Viking games will broadcast on The General with Voice of the Vikings Mike DeCoursey and Jeff Doyle
All North Daviess Cougar sectional games will be on Memories 107.9 with myself Brian Emmons and Blake Burkhart.

Shane Steichen’s coaching staff is starting to come together. The new Indianapolis Colts head coach is expected to name veteran NFL assistant Jim Bob Cooter as the team’s offensive coordinator. Cooter, 38, was most recently the Jacksonville Jaguars’ passing game coordinator. Steichen and Cooter have some recent history together, as Cooter served as an offensive consultant for Steichen with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021.
In a name from the past Billy Joe “Red” McCombs, known for once owning the San Antonio Spurs and Denver Nuggets and venturing into the NFL to buy the Minnesota Vikings, died Sunday at his home in San Antonio at the age of 95, his family announced Monday in a statement. He was one of Texas’ most prominent business people and philanthropists.

After completing a contract buyout, nine-time All-Star guard Russell Westbrook plans to sign with the LA Clippers, his agent announced.
With Westbrook and the Utah Jazz finalized the buyout on the remaining $47 million owed on his expiring deal, the former NBA MVP will return to Los Angeles — this time with the Clippers. He was officially waived by the Jazz on Monday afternoon
