Local homebrewers in the Radius Indiana region have the chance to show off their skills and compete for cash prizes at the first-ever regional Home Brewing Competition on Saturday, March 18th, in Jasper, Indiana. The competition is open to any homebrewer who has perfected the art of brew-making. Competitors must be residents of one of the eight Radius Indiana counties: Crawford, Daviess, Dubois, Greene, Lawrence, Martin, Orange, or Washington. A panel of judges will evaluate each brew based on its specific category, and cash prizes will be awarded to the first-, second-, and third-place winners. All participants must register before Friday, March 10th, and pay a $5 entry fee per brew submitted via cash or check. Radius Indiana, the regional economic development organization for the region, hopes this competition will create more opportunities for entrepreneurs to further develop their products and ideas.
