Deborah S. Schwartz, 68, of Loogootee, Indiana passed away at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Brookside Village in Jasper, Indiana.
She was born May 16, 1954 in Washington, Indiana to the late Cletus and Billie (Ash) Hudson.
Debbie worked at the Loogootee Marathon (Rocket Fuel) for 20 plus years as a clerk. She also worked part time at Southwind Manor Apartments. She enjoyed reading, crafting, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cletus and Billie Hudson; brothers, Matt Hudson and Cletus “Jr.” Hudson.
Debbie is survived by her daughters, Carmen Schwartz (Elvis Waddell) of Newburgh, Elizabeth Schwartz (Kevin Berg) and Amber Voegerl, both of Birdseye; grandchildren, Lily Waddell, Tyler, Taylor, and Tierra O’Keefe, Damend, Dalton, Desin, and Daegan Berg, and Savannah, Alexandra, Justin and Emilee Voegerl; 8 great-grandchildren and a baby girl due in May 2023; siblings, Tim (Rachel) Hudson, Tom (Sheila) Hudson, Jeff (Susan) Hudson, and Gloria Jean (Paul Jr.) Danhafer.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee, Indiana.
