Accolades keep coming for Hatchet wrestler Brady Byrd. He was selected to the 1st Team Academic All State squad. Congratulations Brady on that fine accomplishment.
WJHS Boys 8th grade basketball team played 4 games this past weekend on the way to taking home the 15th annual Hatchet Classic Championship on Sunday afternoon in the Hatchet House.
In the Championship game, the Hatchets faced defending Champion Terre Haute North. This time the Hatchets prevailed 48-45 to take home the Championship. Aiden Boyd led the scoring with 19 points, Levi Burkemper had 16, Brody Armes 7, Jack Brower 4 and Caleb Bouchie 2.
