32nd Cops and Kids Program Taking Place Today

cops-and-kids-4

Today is a busy day for students at Head Start and local law enforcement as the 32nd Annual Cops and Kids program will take place at the Washington Wal-Mart. Around 140 students will shop with law enforcement and other volunteers today, and Angie Bruner with Head Start says this is always a great opportunity for the students to see officers as a positive role model…

Keith Hinderliter with the FOP runs down the program for today…

Again, the shopping will begin around 10:30 a.m. this morning, and then the students will head back to school with a free lunch from McDonald’s.
