Washington’s 6th grade Boys Black team defeated Bloomfield 33-9 Wednesday night. The Hatchets were led by Dylan Stowers with 15 points. Hunter Newland and Drew Clawson each scored 6 followed by Jax Rodriguez, Noah Rhodes and Kayl Kimmel with 2 points each.
Washington:
The WJHS Boys 7th grade improved to 6-1 on the seasons with a 40-25 win over Southridge. Darian Turner paced the Hatchets with 15 points followed by Kayden Gross with 12, Jackson Howell 8 and Zach Frady 5. The 7th grade boys take on Mt Vernon this Saturday morning at 11:00.
The WJHS Boys 8th grade (4-0) remained perfect on the season with a 47-42 victory over Southridge. Aiden Boyd led the way with 28 points. Brody Armes had 9, Levi Burkemper and Caleb Bouchie each with 4 and Jack Brower with 2. The 8th grade boys play Saturday following the 7th vs Mt Vernon.
The Barr-Reeve 6th grade girls won their basketball game over Springs Valley tonight 37-15 to go 4-0 on the season. Avery Wittmer led the girls in scoring with 13 points followed by Joslyn Knepp with 12,
