Norma (Young) Rego has sadly passed away on Monday the 26th of Sept. 2022. She was born June 24th 1936. She lived in Vincennes most of her 86 years (she was proud of her age) with the exception of the last six months where she was at Woodmont Health Facility in Boonville Ind.
As a mother she always had advice to those who would listen, she didn’t hold back with an opinion or two. She was very proud of her boys and would introduce them to anyone and everyone. There are so many of her friends that share in our sorrow. Those who live in Vincennes, know of her and her beloved Archie, and their walks around town. They would often stop and talk to friends along their journey. She attended Calvary Apostolic in Lawrencville where she attended as often as she could. She without a doubt loved the entire congregation. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Margaret and Elmer Lynch. Her sisters, John Young and her son Bryan Young, and husband Archie Rego. She is survived by her sons Ronald Young ( Ohio) Michael Young (Boonville In) and Scott Young (Lynville In). She had 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. You are invited to join us Monday Oct 3rd, 2022 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home 524 Broadway St. Vincennes, In 47591 from 11-1pm for visitation with service at 1:00. Burial will be immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery. To all who knew her and to those who never met her we are so sorry for your loss as well.
