Jordy Graber’s Lady Cougars get a conference win over North Central in 3. This win elevates North Daviess to an outstanding 5-1 in the SWIAC and 11-12 overall. Leading the way for the Cougars were Brooke Pranger (10 kills 15 digs), Regan Knepp (9 Kills 23 digs), Kilee Wagler (29 assists). Next up, it’s Eastern Greene at home on Thursday, and Senior Night Friday with Evansville Christian. In the JV contest, the Lady Cougars win in 3.
At the new Viking arena, it was the Lady Vikings hosting Vincennes Lincoln and won in straight sets.  The game also saw Emma Wagler and Dylan DeCoursey each get their 1000th assist
Loogootee Volleyball lost on the road at Springs Valley last night 10-25, 26-24, 16-25, 15-25. Brooklyn Summers recorded her 1000th career assist in the tough road trip for the Lady Lions on Tuesday.
Washington Junior High volleyball hosted Vincennes Clark on Tuesday. The 7th grade got the win in a 3 set thriller, winning the 3rd set 16-14.  The 8th grade lost in 2 sets. Both teams are now 10-5 on the season. They travel to South Knox Thursday.
The Barr Reeve High School Vikings Soccer team hosted their final soccer match against the Mitchell Jackets. The Vikings came away with a 4-2 victory. Logan Gallagher finished the first goal (unassisted) and Nolan McCain scored the first hat trick (3 goals) with 3 assists by Logan Gallagher. The Vikings play their final regular-season soccer game at Wood Memorial on Friday evening at 6 pm.
On the soccer pitch Tuesday night it was Washington Catholic tangling with Wood Memorial in a tough 2-2 tie and Barr Reeve ends the home portion of their regular season with a 4-2 win over Mitchell.
New sports coming to high school sports and it looks like Terre Haute North is the first Wabash Valley school to announce the addition of boy’s volleyball team. Boys volleyball will compete in the spring season.
Colts and Chiefs fans know that the KC kicking game was a big factor in Sundays game.  Kansas City  will try to fix one of those issues before Week 4, as it cut kicker Matt Ammendola on Monday.
Ammendola missed a field goal and an extra point against the Colts on Sunday. Had he hit both attempts, the Chiefs might have won the contest. Instead, the team lost 20-17 to the Colts.With Ammendola gone, the Chiefs will look for their third kicker of the 2022 NFL season.
