Richard Strange, 79, of Washington, Indiana, passed away on Saturday,
September, 17, 2022 at his residence in Washington.
He was born on December 17, 1942, to the late Henry Strange and
Laura Faith Strange in South Bend, Indiana.
After school, Richard served his country in the United States Army. On
April 29, 2002, he married Donna Long, and they spent over twenty
years together. Richard drove semis for many years before retiring from
Perdue, and then Altress Trucking in Washington. He loved to smoked,
feed his cats, watch westerns, and watch wrestling. Most importantly,
he loved his family and friends, and his kittens.
Surviving Richard is his wife, Donna Strange of Washington, his step –
children, Matthew Miller, Christopher Miller, step – grandchildren,
Brandon Miller, Caleb Miller, and Korran Miller, step great –
grandchildren, Hunter Miller Perry and Layla Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Laura, and his first
wife, Christina and his step – grandson, Justin Miller.
Visitation for Richard will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022,
from 11:00 – 1:00pm at Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home 2020 State St.,
Washington, Indiana 47501. A funeral service will follow immediately at
1:00pm with Pastor Roy Ice officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak
Grove Cemetery in Washington, Indiana.
