Entries are now open for the 2024 Daviess County Christmas Parade, set for Saturday, December 7th, at 6 p.m. with a lineup starting at 5 p.m. near NE 7th and Bedford Road. This year’s theme is “Christmas Around the World,” and cash prizes and trophies will be awarded for the best entries, which must be decorated with lights. Categories include Best Overall ($200/Trophy), Best Business/Commercial ($150/Trophy), and Best Non-Profit ($100/Trophy). A $100 prize and traveling trophy will be awarded for the best lighted window display along Main Street.
