Wabash Steel is set to invest $2.5 million in its Vincennes plant to install advanced equipment for steel cleaning and preparation. The new equipment will be fully operational by 2025, adding around 10 new jobs to the workforce. The project is supported by a $200,000 Conexus Manufacturing Readiness Grant from the State of Indiana, secured with the assistance of Knox County Economic Development, Vincennes University, and other partners. Wabash Steel specializes in fabricating structural steel plate girders, primarily for highway and railroad bridges.
