Personal Injury Accident on I-69 Involving Semi and Two Vehicles

On August 2, at approximately 5:08 PM, a personal injury accident occurred on northbound I-69 near mile marker 73.5 in Odon. The incident involved a semi-truck and two vehicles. Responding officers were dispatched and arrived at the scene shortly after. The accident caused debris on the roadway, and the semi-truck, identified as a milk tanker, went over an embankment. Despite fire and smoke hazards, no one was trapped or thrown from the vehicles. It was reported that a guardrail was damaged, the tires may have broken off the semi, and the passenger tire was ripped off a jeep that was involved. Emergency medical units transported one individual with minor injuries. Due to adverse weather, air evacuation was declined. The scene required cleanup, including the removal of vehicles by tow services.
