Leroy Streepy, Sr., 95 , of Odon, Indiana, passed from this life, with family by his side, on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Eastgate Manor Nursing Home in Washington. He was born on December 3, 1928 in Plainville, Indiana to Edward and Catherine (Everett) Streepy. Leroy married his loving wife, Helen (Devine) Streepy on August 20, 1949.
Leroy was a member of the Parkview Christian Church. He enjoyed being a life-long farmer.
Family left to cherish the memories of Leroy include: four sons, Leroy (Debbie) Streepy, Jr. of Loogootee, Jim (Linda) Streepy of Washington, IN, Steve Streepy of Odon and Rick (Linda) Streepy of Odon, IN; ten grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Leroy was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Helen Streepy; daughter-in-law, Jana Streepy; brother, Russell Streepy; sisters, June Harbstreit and Ruby Slaven.
A private graveside service will be held in the Plainville Cemetery with Jason Shemanski officiating.
