The Daviess Community Hospital Foundation (DCHF) will host its 31st annual golf benefit on Thursday, August 8, at Country Oaks Golf Course in Montgomery. The four-person scramble event has an 11 a.m. Check-in and lunch with Shotgun start at noon. After play concludes, there is a reception with award presentations, pizza, and drinks. Registration is open online. The participation fee is $150 per golfer, which includes range use, green fees, a golf cart (shared by two players), snacks and beverages on select holes, and lunch. DCHF Director Angie Steiner encourages golfers to register quickly, as slots fill up fast. The event promises fun on the course, with a games package available for $15 per individual or $50 per team. Lunch will include grilled marinated turkey strips, potato salad or chips, baked beans, and hot dogs. Additional guests can join for lunch at $10 per person. Proceeds from the event will benefit the DCHF.
