Shirley I. (Willis) Fidler, 78, passed away during the evening hours of June 9, 2024. She was born December 6, 1945, in Algiers, Indiana, to Clarence William and Hazel (Cook) Willis. She was married to Ronald Fidler; and he preceded her in death in 2011.
Shirley was a driver for Professional Transportation INC, Evansville, Indiana. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching Christian programs on TBN. Shirley was devout in her faith and attended church regularly.
Those who now mourn Shirley’s passing include her son, Ronald (Dana) Fidler of Petersburg and her daughter, Tonja Ross of Scotland, Indiana. Shirley was blessed with five grandchildren: Nicholas Ross; Amanda Fidler; Amy (Brandon) Leighty; Kendra (Jason) Rodman; and Chelsea (Jarod) McCord. She leaves twelve great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Geraldine (Steve) Lawyer of Vincennes and Louella Selby of Washington.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and Clarence Willis; great-grandson, Connor McLain; and thirteen siblings.
Visitation for Shirley Fidler will be 10:00 am-1:00 pm, Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana.
Funeral services for Shirley Fidler will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 1:00 pm, also at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary. Burial will be in the Sugarland Memory Gardens.
