Multiple Drug Arrests Made in Washington

On June 10, at around 6:00 AM, officers from the Washington Police Department (WPD ERT & DEA Task Force), Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, and Indiana State Police (DES) executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence on CR 50 N. Authorities found approximately one quarter ounce of suspected methamphetamine, seven firearms, various controlled substance pills, paraphernalia, and about one quarter pound of suspected marijuana. Logan Helderman, 32, was arrested on multiple charges, including dealing methamphetamine.
Later that day, at around 10:15 PM, a Washington Police Sergeant conducted a traffic stop on Greenwood St. The driver, Ryan Potts, 50, and passenger, Chadd Gregory, 44, were found with approximately 226 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Gregory was arrested for dealing methamphetamine, and Potts for maintaining a common nuisance. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrests. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
These incidents were not related.
