Indiana Primary Election: Local Republican Races and Candidates

Tomorrow is primary election day in Indiana. In our local races in the region, they are all on the Republican ticket. For Daviess County Commissioner District 1, Ron Arnold is being challenged by Tracy T.C. Cook.
In Martin County Commissioner District 1, three candidates are vying for the chance to be on the November ballot. Kevin Boyd, Cody Rousch, and Retha Warner. For District 3, John Daniel, Dana Strange, and Aaron Summers. In the County Council at Large Race in Martin County, five Republican candidates will fight for the three seats: Warren Albright, Matt Copeland, Gerald Montgomery, Stephen Shout, and Jim Woody.
In Pike County, there are just two races again on the Republican ticket. For Corona, it’s Jim Gladish and Nick Henson. While for the County Council at Large seats, four people will go for the three seats: Jeff Harting, Marta Query, Eric Smith, and Greg Willis.
Finally, in Knox County, several races will be challenged, again all on the Republican ticket. Joe Milspaugh Jr. and Kira Dent for County Coroner.
Cher Wehrman and T.J. Brink are trying for commissioner in District 1. Tim Ellerman Jr., Trent Hinkle, and Pam Hazel are vying for commissioner in District 2. And for County Council at Large, three people will be on the November ballot: Brett Dawson, Deaton Grove, Jon Hillenbrand, Mike Jacob, Tony McCarter, Kevin Meyer, and Dan Reitmeyer.
Early voting continues today until noon, and the polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday. We will have the results as they come in.
