Sullivan County Grand Jury Indicts Man in 2012 Murder Case

After a 12-year investigation, a Sullivan County Grand Jury has indicted a man in the murder of Sullivan resident Lowell Badger. Badger was killed in his home on December 8th, 2012, and police have been investigating the murder since. After six days of evidence and testimony, the jury issued the indictment for William Ray Grimes and charged him with murder, burglary, and conspiracy to commit burglary. No further information has been released, as grand jury proceedings are closed by law. The investigation is ongoing, and police ask anyone with information concerning this murder to contact the Indiana State Police.
