Commissioner Candidates Discuss Future Plans for Daviess County at the Commissioners Debate

The two candidates vying for the seat as Daviess County Commissioner in District 1 squared off last night in a debate at Washington High School.  Fielding a wide variety of questions from local media and the public concerning topics like roads, taxes, and plans for the future. Incumbent Ron Arnold and challenger Tracy TC Cook each gave their visions if elected. Arnold said he is proud of what he has accomplished for Daviess County…

His challenger, TC Cook, says he wants to give money back to the taxpayer…

Ron Arnold says he will continue to look forward with long-term goals in mind for the future and lessening the tax payer burden…

In closing, Cook asked if Daviess County voters were ready for change…

If you missed last night’s debate, you can download the program on our website at www.wamwamfm.com. The primary election is set for May 7th, and early voting is underway now weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kiwanis Cabin at Eastside Park in Washington.
