The Town of Shoals is mourning the loss of longtime town marshal Todd Eckert.
Eckert passed away over the weekend after a long battle with cancer.
Eckert has served as town marshal for years, been an active volunteer with Cops and Kids, at Wagler Motorsports Park, and various other community organizations.
Funeral services are pending at this time.
