Julia “Julie” Lynn Walker Morgan, aged 46, passed away surrounded by love on March 23, 2024, in Oaktown, Indiana. Born on September 21, 1977, in Vincennes, Indiana, she was the beacon of joy to Judy Kay Meeks Walker and Jerry “Jed” Lane Walker. Julie’s life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and service, woven with the threads of family, faith, and community.
A loving wife and partner, Julie shared an unwavering bond with her husband, Chad Morgan, since their marriage on September 14, 1996, in Oaktown. Together, they nurtured their daughter, Aspen Linne, alongside son-in-law Seth, in a home filled with laughter and warmth. Her siblings, Johnny Walker (Rob Veras) and Jennifer Bunn, will remember Julie for her endless compassion and unbreakable spirit, just as her nieces, nephews, father-in-law Bill Morgan, sister-in-laws Kris Doersam and Angela Heacock (John) will cherish the moments of joy she brought into their lives. Julie was preceded in death by mother-in law Sherry Morgan and brother-in-law Eric Doersam.
Julie’s educational journey culminated as a proud 1996 graduate of Sullivan High School, thereafter, she poured her heart into the founding and operation of Juju’s Jumpin Monkey Daycare. Her entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering dedication to child welfare touched many lives within her community.
Beyond her professional achievements, Julie was an active member of the Emmaus Community, sharing her passion for camping, animals, and immersive family experiences. Her faith was integral to her life, and as a committed member of The First Church of God, she found strength and solace.
Julie leaves behind a legacy of love, care, and community spirit that will continue to inspire those who knew her. Her life was a testament to the power of devotion—both to her family and to the greater good. She will be deeply missed and eternally remembered.
There will be a visitation on ,Wednesday ,March 27, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at First Church of God, 1408 E. St. Clair St. Vincennes, IN 47591 with a service following on, Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 10:00 AM also at the church. Burial will be in Oaktown Cemetery. The family welcomes online condolences and fond memories to be left at www.fredrickandson.com. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Julie’s memory to the Travis Burkhart Foundation 10274 n County Road 200 E. Plainville In 47568.
