Indiana State Police Reminds Drivers to Avoid Distractions Behind the Wheel

Jasper, IN — The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is launching a national campaign in April to deter distracted driving. Law enforcement officers will be enforcing texting and distracted driving laws and reminding drivers to put away distractions.  Violating Indiana’s distracted driving laws can result in fines of up to $500 and points added to a driver’s license.
