The Indiana State Sycamores were the odd man out on Section Sunday for the Big Dance but did garner a #1 seed in the NIT. Sycamores open up on Wednesday versus SMU at 7:00 pm. Josh Schertz’s squad is 28-6 on the season. Butler who is 18-4 is also in the NIT field and if both teams win they will meet in the 2nd round. The NIT finals are April 4th in Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
