Daviess County officials gathered this week for a special groundbreaking at the new Summit Plaza on the east side of Washington. The plaza is situated on five acres of land and will serve the restaurant, retail, and service industries. The project will be divided into three phases, with phases one and two consisting of site preparation and the development of two 42-hundred square-foot buildings; the third phase will add another six thousand square-foot building. Work is underway and will continue into the spring on this exciting new development.
