Carl Robert “Bob” Kamplain, 80, of Bramble, Indiana passed away on Friday March 8, 2024, at Hillside Manor in Washington, Indiana.
He was born on September 9, 1943, in Bramble, Indiana to Carl R. and Esther (Padgett) Kamplain.
Bob was a member of the Catholic Faith and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bramble, Indiana. In his earlier years he worked as a T.V. repair man, and then later in life he worked as an outboard mechanic repairing boats and boat motors. Bob liked to watch baseball games, play cards, fish, and spend time with his family. He will be missed by all that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl R. and Esther (Padgett) Kamplain, and his brother Roger Kamplain.
Bob is survived by his siblings, Charles E. “Ed” (Carol) Kamplain, James S. “Steve” Kamplain, Wilma E. (Ronald) Moorehouse, his nieces and nephews, Curt (Elizabeth) Moorehouse, Jennifer (Dusty) Sloan, Laura Jean (David) Wright, Estelene (George) House, Derek (Pam) Kamplain, and 3 great-nieces, 3 great-nephews, 1 great-great niece, and 2 great-great nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bramble. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
