David William Davis

David William Davis, passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 50. Born in Elmhurst, IL on November 27, 1973, David was a cherished son, father, brother, and grandfather. He was an esteemed member of the Coil industry, dedicated to his work at Hermatic Coil.
David was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a passion for motorcycles and enjoyed the thrill of riding dirt bikes in his younger days. His love extended beyond machines to the animal kingdom, where his German Shepherd, Seth, held a special place in his heart.
Survived by his loving mother, June Davis of Bruceville, IN, devoted children, Dustin Davis and his wife Josie of Vincennes, IN, Kristen Davis and her husband Adam of Evansville, IN, and Kourtney Davis of Indianapolis, IN, along with his siblings Doreen Stephens and her husband Brian, Debbie Barton, Lisa Thonn, Angie McLin and her husband Rob, Dorthea Earley and her husband James, Sandra Hicks and her husband Sherwood, Daniel Davis and his wife Wendy, Richard Davis and his wife Sandra, and his grandsons, Rowan Unthank and Dawson Davis. David is preceded in death by his father Dhuaine Davis, Sr., his sister, Caryn Davis his brothers, Darren Davis and Dhuaine Davis, Jr. and his brother-in-laws Mike Thonn and David Barton. David leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter.
Reflecting on his life and the memories he created, friends and family are invited to join in honoring David at the Funeral Service to be held at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN 47591 on March 15, 2024, at 3:00 pm. Prior to the service, a Public Viewing will take place at the same location at 2:00 pm with Rev. Tony Ernst officiating. Following the ceremonies, David will be laid to rest at Bruceville Cemetery in Bruceville, IN.
David William Davis will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him, treasuring the moments spent with a man whose kindness and warmth touched the lives of many. May his spirit ride on, embracing the freedom he found both on the open road and in the boundless affection of those he held dear.
