Donna K. Donovan, 74, of Vincennes, IN passed away March 3, 2024. She was born in Vincennes, IN on November 16, 1949, to the late Murl and Catherine (Shappard) Emmons. Donna attended Lincoln High School and was a part of the 1967 graduating class. She married the love of her life, Robert Donovan, on December 1, 1972. Donna worked many years as a medical record assistant, most recently at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a member of the Old Cathedral Church.
In her free time, Donna enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, watching crime shows, spending time with her granddaughters, and reading. She had a spitfire personality and will be deeply missed.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Donovan; brothers Marv and Rich Emmons; sister Carol Fields.
She is survived by her children Christopher (Angie) Donovan and Courtney (Jonathon) Day; grandchildren Emily (Ahmed) Donovan, Hannah Donovan, Michaela (Jade Mikiska) Sampson, Jonna Day; siblings Murl Emmons, Cathy Emmons, Jana (John) Wolf, Rita Emmons, Karen (Tim) Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Donovan. Visitation will be held March 12, 2024, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am at St. Francis Xavier Old Cathedral Catholic Church, 205 Church St., Vincennes, IN. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am at the conclusion of visitation with Rev. Tony Ernst celebrating. Donna will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery.
