Curtis Reglin

It is with a profound sense of loss that we announce the peaceful transition of Curtis Reglin, a loving son, talented hairdresser, and dedicated member of the community. Born on the 22nd of August 1943, in Vincennes, Indiana, Curt lived a life that was as vibrant and stylish as the hairstyles he created. His life was a testament to the words of Psalm 118:24, “This is the day the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Curt lived each day with courage, joy, and an undeniable love for his craft and those around him.
Curt was a pillar of strength, not just for his family but for his community as well. After graduating from Vincennes University, he served in the National Guard, demonstrating his courage and dedication to service. Following his service, he embarked on a career in cosmetology that spanned over 55 years. Curt was not just a hairdresser; he was an artist, a confidant, and a friend to his many clients. He was a committed member of various organizations, including the Elks in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the Harmony Society, and the National Hairdresser Association. His dedication and talent in his field were unmatched, and his work was not just a job, but a passion.
Curt was a beacon of light in the lives of those lucky enough to know him. He was preceded in death by his father, George Reglin, his mother, Margaret Reglin, and his brother, John Reglin. In this moment of sorrow, we remember Curt not with sadness, but with gratitude for the love and joy he brought into our lives. We celebrate his life and the beautiful legacy he leaves behind.
