The Posey County Coroner has identified the man killed in Monday’s crash on SR 69 near Smith School Road as 31-year-old Kenneth K. Vessels of Vincennes, Indiana.
The crash occurred just after 8 a.m. The coroner’s office stated that no autopsy will be performed at this time, with toxicology results pending.
The Posey County Sheriff’s Office indicated that Vessels crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, striking another driver.
The other driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
