Mayor Dave Rhoads joined us yesterday to give us updates around the City of Washington. The mayor ran down different meetings in our area and highlighted the growing eclipse meetings. In downtown news, crews continue to work hard, but unfortunately, the Commons area will be close but not completed by the eclipse. The mayor said law enforcement will be out in full swing during the eclipse weekend. Lastly, Mayor Rhoads shared details about the Highway Project.
Again, the highway project meeting is March 7th at 6 p.m. at the community building to discuss details behind the Highway 50 project.
