Family Faces Tragedy in Washington Township Fire

Last night, the Washington Township Fire Department responded to a call at 2416 E 150 S, Washington. The incident involved a camper on fire, with the caller reporting injuries to himself and his son at 3:19 a.m. A helicopter was requested for a 5-year-old with facial burns. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, the incident resulted in serious injuries. A plea for community support has been issued by the Daviess County Kids Fire Relief Fund, aiming to aid the affected family with cash, gas cards, or restaurant gift cards.
