Lots of high school hoops from Saturday night, we start with the boys.
Washington lost a hard fought showdown at the Hatchet House to Heritage Hills 57-52.  Patriot stand out Trent Sisley was held to 8 points in the first half, but finished with 29 to lead all scorers.  Washington drops to 4-7 and will celebrate Homecoming Friday as they welcome Boonville.
Barr Reeve won the Greene County Classic on Saturday night defeating host White River Valley 52-24.  The Vikes go to 10 and 1 on the year and will play Washington Catholic Tuesday at the Bird Cage in a boys/girls doubleheader.
Coach Brent Dalrymple claimed his 350th victory Saturday night all at North Daviess as the Cougars defeated Borden 38-33.  Coach Dal is now in his 24th year leading the Cougars who are now 10-3 on the year.
Jasper beat Evansville North 52-45
Pike Central topped Evansville Central 51-47 at Evansville.
Washington Catholic lost at Shoals 79-20
Dugger beat Vincennes Rivet 60-44
Vincennes lost a close one at Bosse 51-48
North Knox got by North Central at home 66-47
South Knox lost to Bedford 55-43
Girls scores from Saturday, Washington notched their 15th win in a row against a very good Princeton team 53-42.  The Lady Hatchets go to 17-3 and will play at Gibson Southern Saturday.

Forest Park beat Pike Central 37-31
Loogootee topped Bloomfield 60-32
Jasper got by Mater Dei 53-41
Rivet lost in overtime to Springs Valley 40-34
North Knox continues to roll topping Eastern Greene 52-13
The Washington Hatchet Wrestling Team will host their final home meet of the season at Washington intermediate school (Lena Dunn) tonight at 6:30 as they take on Evansville Bosse.  Seniors Brady Byrd, Righley Purdue and Eli Jenne will roll out the home mats for the last time, and  
Brady Byrd will be going for the Hatchet all time win record as he is looking for career win #126.  Come out and support the Hatchet Wrestlers tonight at Washington Intermediate.  Again, starting time is set for 6:30pm.
The Washington Softball team will have a Parent/player call out meeting this Wednesday night at 6:30 in the cafeteria. It is very important to attend if possible. Items to be discussed include taco dinner, player packs, and more.  The Taco dinner fundraiser is set for Saturday January 27th in the High school Cafeteria.  
Tonight, they’ll crown the best team in College Football. The National Championship kicks off at NRG Stadium in Houston, between the Number 1 Michigan Wolverines and the Number 2 ranked Washington Huskies.  Kick off is set for 7:30pm.
The Colts season came down to a fourth and one at the Houston 15-yard Line Saturday night, it was a Gardner Minshew pass to Tyler Goodson in the left flats, Tyler could not hang on and the Colts see the season end with a tough 23-19 loss.  The Colts end the year at 9-8.
The Indiana Hoosiers avenged a loss to Nebraska on Wednesday by taking down Ohio State Saturday night in Bloomington 71-65.  IU will play at Rutgers Tuesday night.
