In wrestling the Hatchets have another successful weekend. 12 of the 14 varsity wrestlers make the podium as Washington places 4th in the Bo Henry Classic at Bloomington North.  Two individual champions in Brady Byrd at 106lb and Jack Whitehead at 144lb. Washington wrestling senior night at the Hatchet House this Wednesday.  Senior wrestlers Brady Byrd, Eli Jenne and Ryleigh Purdue will be honored as the Hatchets grapple with Evansville Memorial and South Spencer.

The Jr High Lady Vikings finished their first half of the season at home on Saturday against the
The 7th grade led from start to finish for a 38-18 victory over the  Pike Central Lady Chargers.. JJ Knepp led the way with 20 pts. The 7th grade is now 6-4.
The 8th grade won their game 41-6. Shay Knepp and Ava Graber both scored 10 pts each. Molly Jo Anderson had 9 pts, The 8th grade goes to 7-3 on the season.

BR 5th grade girls beat SK 40-17 to remain undefeated and the 6th graders go to 5-3 with 38-28 loss to the Spartans
