Minor Injuries Reported in Gibson County Intersection Collision

On Monday morning, Gibson County witnessed an accident near the US 41 and County Road 1025 South intersection. Sheriff Bruce Vanoven reported that multiple emergency units responded to the 911 call, reporting an overturned vehicle. The collision involved a black 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche and a southbound 2011 Ford Escape. According to Sheriff Vanoven, the Avalanche pulled into the path of the Ford Escape. Although no serious injuries were reported, several individuals were assessed at the scene, and some were transported to local hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries.

Assisting in the response were officers from Haubstadt Police, Fort Branch Police, and Indiana State Police. Fire officials from Haubstadt, Fort Branch, and Princeton were also dispatched, responding to the reported need for extrication. The Gibson County Ambulance Service facilitated the transportation of the injured individuals.
