Forgery and Fraud Arrest at Ruxer Ford

On November 21, at 3:00 p.m., Jasper Police responded to a call at Ruxer Ford regarding a male, David A. Salmon, 61, who allegedly applied for vehicle financing using fraudulent information and a fake ID. The investigation revealed Salmon’s involvement in forgery, counterfeiting, identity deception, and other related offenses. Salmon, associated with a 2022 Black Kia, was located and arrested. Further investigations suggest he used fraudulent information multiple times for credit applications. Salmon is currently lodged in the Dubois County Security Center, facing charges including a Level 6 felony for various offenses and a misdemeanor for operating while intoxicated. Additional charges may follow as the investigation unfolds.
