On Friday, at approximately 12:58 p.m., the Jasper Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of US 231 and State Road 161 for a 2-vehicle accident. After an investigation, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle, Adyinson Sotelo Corvea, 31, of Jasper, was under the influence of alcohol. Corvea was transported to a Memorial Certified Chemical Test. The subject had a BAC of .26. Corvea was then transported and booked into the Dubois County Security Center. He faces charges of OWI, OWI over .15, and OWI endangerment.
