On Monday, at approximately 11:06 p.m., the Vincennes Police Department responded to a report of possible gunshots in the 200 block of Rousillon St. An investigation revealed that several shots had struck a residence. Jean Daniel Pierre Jr. was arrested for one count of attempted murder, a level 1 felony, and is currently held at the Knox County Jail. A juvenile involved in the incident was also arrested and lodged at the Southwest Indiana Regional Youth Village. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
